Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro - First Live Hands On Images Leaked Online

The biggest smartphone maker brand after Samsung, the Huawei has been continuing to retain its first position in the smartphone market despite several bans from different countries. The company is planning to launch the Nova 8 series phones and we have got the first live look of the base model along with the renders of the pro model. 

This is Huawei Nova 8 model guy's, It looks interesting with a new design from both front and back sides. The company have opted to implement a centered hole punch notch this time that looks nice with the body having a boxy design with smaller chins and bezels. We can see curved edges here that gives the phone a premium look. 

The interesting part is actually the back design of the phone as the back camera design have completely changed that looks completely different from previous models. Instead of regular rectangular modules, this time it gets a huge pill-shaped module carrying one main large sensor on top along with other sensors and LED flash packed inside the module. 

The Nova 8 model will have a tall 6.57-inch OLED Display with 90Hz refresh rate support, It will pack Huawei's latest Kirin 985 CPU which is a 5G processor built on 7nm technology that will be coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of internal storage. The back camera department includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor along with other three sensors. And on front it will have a 32-megapixel shooter for selfies. The phone will have an amazing 66W fast charging support but for the lower 3,700mAH Battery capacity.

This is your first look at the Nova 8 pro model and we don't still have the live images yet. It looks similar to the Huawei's Mate 40 series phone from front with dual selfie cameras and the back design is identical to the standard Nova 8 model. It is also confirmed that the phone will have 120Hz refresh rate support to become the first Huawei smartphone to sport this high refresh rate.

So the phone is scheduled to launch soon on december 23rd and the Nova 8 will be available for starting $460 dollars and the Pro model will be available for $610 dollars for the base models. Finally the most awaited smartphone from Huawei, the Huawei Mate 40 series has been launched with three models named Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus which is the top-end model in the whole Mate 40 series.

Coming to the design, the Mate 40 series phones gets a flagship level design with waterfall curved display on edges with almost no bezels and slight narrow symmetrical chins that looks nice and gets a pill-shaped notch sporting dual selfie cameras on the top left corner. The back camera model looks some what different with a circular path including cameras with LEICA branding at the centre.

The Huawei Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro Plus are the most exciting devices from Huawei this year and both models doesn't have much differences. Both models just vary with the rear camera resolutions with one sensor increase in the Pro plus model.

These both models sports a large 6.76-inches OLED display that will have an amazing 1,344 x 2,772 pixels of screen resolution. They alo get 90Hz refresh rate for smoother experience similar to what we have seen on the previous P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ models, but it should have atleast 120Hz support for more additional highlight.

The display includes a pill-shape notch on the top left corner that consists of two 13-megapixel primary and secondary sensors which is assisted by a 3D ToF sensor. The curved edge has got an amazing 88-degrees curve that gives the device a flagship look from the side.

On the back side of the phone, this new model has got a quite interesting design which is the first time we have seen on any phone that gets a circular module path consisting cameras placed over it and looks a bit different from the last year's Mate 30 series phones.

The top end model Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus, gets a total number of five cameras on the rear side, that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with (f/1.9 aperture) with Optical Image Stabilization support, which is assisted by a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with (f/2.4 aperture) to capture ultra-wide shots.

Apart from these, the other three sensors includes an 8-megapixel periscope camera with 10x optical zoom support, a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support, and a 3D ToF stereo camera for depth sensing. According to the company, the pair of periscope and telephoto cameras are capable to deliver up to an impressive 17x optical zoom which is the highest among all smartphones in the market available right now.

Further coming to the Mate 40 Pro, the phone has got a triple camera set-up unlike the penta camera setup that we have seen on the Mate 40 Pro+ model that includes a 50-megapixel primary camera with (f/1.9 aperture) and Optical Image Stabilization support, which is assisted by a 20-megapixel secondary sensor with (f/2.4 aperture) to capture ultra-wide shots and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom support.

Under the hood, the Mate 40 series smartphones are powered by the latest Huawei's Kirin 9000 chipset which is built on 5nm technology, which is capable to achieve a maximum frequency upto 3.13 GHz which is much higher than the current Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865+ SoC in the market.

The battery department of the Mate 40 Pro and Mate 40 Pro+ phones are fuelled with a decent 4,400mAh battery that will have an amazing 66W Huawei SuperCharge fast-charging technology support. Further, along with this it also has a support for 55W wireless charging too.

What makes Huawei Porsche Design cost more than 2000 euros?

Recently we have got the first look of the Huawei Mate 40 series phones with complete renders from all sides. Huawei Mate 40 Pro + phone retail box was shown in live images confirming key specs and first look

The launch of Mate 40 series is expected to be held on October 22

We have already seen the complete design and high quality renders of the Huawei Mate 40 Pro + phone. But now some if the live images have been surrounding the internet and that is believed to be the Mate 40 Pro Plus model and it has been leaked by a user with live photos of it.

These live photos showcased the retail box of the phone that was shown in black colour and  looks amazing with a large circular path over the box on front side which resembles the camera design of the phone here. One can also see a large 5G network branding on the bottom side of the phone along with some of the key details printed on the sticker here.

This box is a model of Huawei Mate 40 Pro Plus that carrying a 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage which could be the top end model in this whole Mate 40 series. Interestingly, the font side of the box is printed with LEICA and Huawei Logos. So this is the final look at the retail packaging of the phone from all sides which was shown by a user and posted it online.

Coming to the design, this phone has got a full screen curved waterfall display with almost no bezels but having narrow chins on top and bottom. The dual hole-punch notch is slightly wider and looks similar to what we have seen on the Huawei P40 series phones. On back, one can see four cameras arranged inside a circular black coloured path along with a LED flash on top with LEICA branding printed right at the centre.

According to the information provided by the website revealed some of the specifications and it reports that the new Huawei Mate 40 Pro phone will sport a tall 6.76-inch OLED Display with 1344x2772 pixels of screen resolution and with 456 ppi pixel density. However we don't have any data regarding the refresh rate of this phone but it is expected to support higher increased refresh rate as many flagship phones these days are really concerned about refresh rate.

Dutch 3D designer Jermaine Smit, also known as Concept Creator, has made high-quality renders of the upcoming Huawei Mate X2 smartphone apart from LetsGoDigital, as well as published a video that allows you to view the device from all angles. The model was created from patent images that were leaked to the Web.

The Huawei Mate X2 could be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, meaning its main screen will be folded inwards and be protected by a case. It is also expected that the smartphone will receive a modern camera with a periscope module. The smartphone is credited with a 40-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom support.

The Huawei Mate X2 could be powered with the flagship Kirin processor, which will be coupled with up to 12GB of massive LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of internal storage of UFS 3.1 memory. According to rumors, Huawei's new foldable smartphone will feature an 8.03-inch folding screen with a screen resolution of 2480x2220 pixels. It will also support 120Hz refresh rate.

Earlier, Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, said the Chinese manufacturing giant would not be able to release a new foldable smartphone this year. The same source added that unlike Samsung, Huawei will not use UTG (ultra-thin glass). Instead, a colorless polyimide will be selected.

Reports: Huawei Mate 30 Pro E will be launched along with the Huawei Mate 40 series on October 22nd

Huawei may present, along with the new flagship Mate 40 series, a replenishment of last year's Mate 30 series and could also be the most affordable phone in the older Mate 30 series. 

This was reported by Chinese sources. Presumably, we are talking about the same model labeled LIO-AN00M, which received certification from the Chinese regulator TENAA in August . Then it was assumed that the model could enter the market as the Mate 30 Pro Youth Edition for China and the Mate 30 Pro Lite for the international market. 

Now it is clarified that the smartphone will be named Huawei Mate 30 Pro E and will debut at the same presentation as the long-awaited Mate 40 series and there is also a new foldable phone is going to launch by the company in the upcoming days as we have already seen the first look of the phone that looks amazing. 

Huawei has already announced the date for the international presentation of the Mate 40 series. It is set for the evening of October 22nd. Presumably, Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro + and Mate 40 RS Porsche Design will be presented on this day. 

According to TENAA listings, the smartphone will feature a tall 6.53-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1176 pixels, an eight-core SoC with a frequency of 2.86 GHz (probably as part of the Kirin 990 5G SoC), a 16 megapixel front camera, a main camera with a main sensor of 32 MP, battery with a capacity of 4,400 mAH. 

Not much known about the device till now, but is expected to launch soon along with the Huawei Mate 40 series phones. It is scheduled to launch at an event on October 22nd and the company will present Huawei Mate 40 and Mate 30 series phones according to the fresh reports.

IPhone 12 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro appeared in live images in one photo

Huawei Central has obtained a photo on the Chinese social network Weibo, which allegedly shows the new flagship smartphones iPhone 12 and Huawei Mate 40 Pro on.

Apple has already confirmed that there will be a big fall press conference on October 13 to announce the new hardware. It is on this day that the iPhone 12 line of smartphones is expected to be announced.

However, Huawei launches phones in the third quarter and the company may plan to release this smartphones in the october month that could be on the China's National Day event.

Apart from this giant Huawei's Mate 40 series phones, there will also be an another model in the same Mate series with the powerful Kirin 9000 processor to pack this and it will be none other than the Huawei Mate X2 phone. And these both series phones could launch at the same event according to the sources.

Recently as we have seen, the reliable tipster digital chat station have posted a new Huawei smartphone with a model number TET-AN00 with codename 'Tenton" spotted on various certification sites which is also rumored to come with the powerful Kirin 9000 CPU. However this is not a normal phone, but will be folded into half just like the Motorola Razr phone inwards to fold into half similar to the previous Huawei Mate X phone design.

Coming to the Specifications of the Huawei Mate X2 according to the sources, this tablet will have tall 8.03-inches screen when unfolded and after folding the screen size reduces to 4.5-inches. Other hardware specifications include a 40-megapixel primary camera along with a 40-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On front, there will be dual sensors including a 32MP+16MP sensors inside a pill-shaped module. It will have upto 8/12GB of inbuilt RAM and 128/256/512GB of massive storage options and there will not be any expandable storage. 

Unfortunately, the Huawei Mate X2 foldable phone will not launch this year for the ongoing China US crisis according to the sources. Further leaks in the upcoming days will reveal more things related to these massive phones.

Huawei Nova 8 and Nova 8 pro pricing details and processors revealed

Huawei Nova 8 will get a smoother 90Hz Display and MediaTek Dimensity 820

Huawei is soon going to announce the Nova 8 series in the next quarter, possibly at the very end of the year. Sources have already published the first information about the price and platforms used in the Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro smartphones.

According to information published by a Chinese insider on Weibo, the upcoming Huawei Nova 8 will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC. Redmi currently has exclusive rights to use this platform, but the exclusivity period ends in December.

The Huawei Nova 8 is also expected to receive a 90Hz OLED display from Visionox or Tianma. The starting price of the device should be around ¥3,299 which is $485.

As for the Huawei Nova 8 Pro model, it is expected to use a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ CPU, as well as an OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate from Visionox or Tianma. The price of new items should start at ¥3,999 which is $590.

Huawei has patented a new smartphone, the relevant documents were filed by the National Intellectual Property Office of China and were released only today, September 18.

LetsGoDigital used the patent images to create a 3D model of the new smartphone. The device should have a curved screen and rear panel, with the front camera positioned below the display surface.

The rear panel showcases the new design of the main camera, which can be located in the center top or in the corners. The camera includes three image sensors, a separate periscope module for optical zoom and an LED flash. There is a manufacturer's logo on the bottom of the back panel.

Recall that the use of a sub-screen camera allows you to abandon any cutouts and holes in the screen and make it almost frameless. The first smartphone with such a camera, called ZTE Axon 20 5G, has already appeared on the market .

On the top panel you can see a microphone hole and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Analysts point out that next year a lot of smartphones with sub-screen cameras from various manufacturers will appear on the market.

It will run on the latest Android 10 Operating System based on the custom EMUI 11.0 User Interface on top.

The phone will be powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor, which is most probably the MediaTek's Dimensity 800U chipset that announced last month. 

The phone will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage with a micro-SD card slot upto 512GB.

The Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition has a 16-megapixel camera on the front sitting inside a punch-hole notch. 

The phone sports a quad-camera set-up on the back side that will have a 64-megapixel main sensor, assisted by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, along with 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens.

The device is fuelled with 3,900mAh as per the listings with a typical capacity will be 4,000mAh and the 3C certification have already revealed that it will have a 40W fast charging support.

The Huawei Nova 7 SE Vitality Edition measures 162.31 x 75 x 8.58 mm and it weighs about 189 grams. 

The smartphone will have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication and will be available in Green, Purple, Silver, and Black.

Unfortunately, the pricing details of the phone is not known till now and this listings reveals the imminent launch of the phone.

The smartphone is expected in October

Concerning the series of flagship smartphones Huawei Mate 40, disturbing news has emerged recently. If earlier it was thought that they could be presented as early as September and released in October, but now it is reported about a possible postponement of the release date to next year . In addition, Huawei itself has cut orders for components for Mate 40 smartphones by 30%.

Huawei nova 8 received a curved OLED screen with 120Hz Display seen in Live images

A Chinese insider, who has his sources in Huawei and specializes in relevant leaks, has published live photos of the screen of a promising smartphone from the Chinese company. This smartphone will reportedly be the nova 8.

We have already seen that Huawei previously released P40 Pro series will get dual hole-punch display on front. And the upcoming Huawei Mate 40 Pro will also have a dual punch-hole cut out for the selfie camera. 

According to the leaks, the standard Huawei Mate 40 series is not a mobile phone with a dual-hole screen instead it will come with a single hole-punch notch. Now the information on Huawei's Nova 8 series mobile phones has begun to be exposed.

OLED screen. Neither the diagonal nor the resolution are reported, but the frame rate is given - 120Hz. You can also clearly see the embedded dual front camera with two sensors and curved sidewalls. So at least part of the screen, the nova 8 will have a lot in common with the Huawei P40 Pro.

The insider said that Huawei has already reduced production of nova 7, which testifies in favor of the imminent debut of nova 8 smartphones. The series is expected to include three models - nova 8 SE, nova 8 and nova 8 Pro. 

The source does not undertake to say what processors these smartphones will be equipped with, but with a high degree of probability it is possible to predict SoC MediaTek of the Dimensity 800 or Dimensity 1000 series.

As the mobile phone seen on running with the latest EMUI 11, and hence the phone will be upgraded to Hongmeng 2.0 or Hongmeng 3.0 system.

Huawei Mate 40 can get 66W charging support, confirmed with EMUI 11

This is hinted at in EMUI 11 Official

After the official announcement of the EMUI 11 shell this week, a small video appeared on the web describing its functions. And this video demonstrates the process of charging a smartphone with a new animation. Interestingly, the caption on this animation indicates that it is using 66W charging.

It is known that the first Huawei devices with EMUI 11 preinstalled will be the flagships of the Mate 40 series, moreover, so far no smartphone from the company supports such charging power. Therefore, it is logical to think that the new fast charging technology refers specifically to the devices of the Mate 40 series.

The teaser was actually spotted by the reliable leaker Digital Chat Station, who posted it on Weibo.
