Finally we have got our first hands on look on this new Huawei Mate X2 phone with hands on image as Slashleaks has published the first photo, which is having a foldable screen. The smartphone is in the on state in the hands of the user.
The Huawei Mate X2 should be similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2, but it will get a modern camera with a periscope module. If earlier in smartphones of the Huawei Mate X series, the screen was folded around the body when folded, remaining portion gets unprotected from external influences, then in the Huawei Mate X2 the manufacturer must use a different design, as in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold line. The photograph confirms that the frame around the perimeter of the screen is quite narrow and the same from all sides.
Earlier, Ross Young, founder of research companies Display Supply Chain Consultants and DisplaySearch, said the Chinese manufacturing giant would not be able to release a new foldable smartphone this year.
The Huawei Mate X2 can be equipped with Kirin 1000 (Kirin 9000) chips, will have up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Also, the smartphone is credited with a 40-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom. It could also feature the same 8-inch display and a rear mounted fingerprint sensor like the previous Mate X model.
As we already learned much information about the launch date, specifications and even the first look of the Huawei Mate 40 series phones. Despite these there could also be the launch of a new Huawei Mate X2 phone which will be the successor to the previous Huawei Mate Xs foldable phone to beat Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. We can't expect this foldable phone to launch this earlier, but we can hope it could launch the phone in the first quarter next year.
