Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 and Snapdragon 775G with 5-nanometer platforms will be launched in December

Snapdragon 875 may not be the most interesting novelty of Qualcomm Technology Summit

Qualcomm is soon going to launch it's new top-end flagship CPU and that will be the Snapdragon 875 processor and traditionally it is soon going to announce on the first of the month. However apart from the Snapdragon 875 CPU there will be an another interesting processor with 5G support and in mid-range segment.

Yes guys! Qualcomm will present not one, but two 5-nanometer platforms in December. According to the source, Qualcomm, along with the 5nm Snapdragon 875, will present its first 5nm mid-range SoC platform too. There are no technical details on this yet, but we are probably talking about the Snapdragon 775G CPU. This platform is rumored to rise higher in the Qualcomm series and is significantly closer to the Snapdragon 875 than the current Snapdragon 765G is to the Snapdragon 865.

And it is Snapdragon 775G CPU and not the Snapdragon 875, that is credited with the built-in 5G modem. Consider this, multiply by the significantly increased (relative to Snapdragon 765G) performance, add increased energy efficiency and a lower cost than the Snapdragon 875, and almost the best SoC of the new Qualcomm line appears.
