Unsuccessful pre-orders for this phone
LG have launched a newly designed rotatable flagship smartphone the LG Wing, with an unusual design to attract customers and the design is really unique and completely different from the foldable phones. It has got two screen on which the upper display can be rotated horizontally and looks in a squarish shape.
However, the reliable leakster @Kuma_Sleepy, who gives almost accurate data, have revealed the pre-order date for the new phone and surprisingly it became real and his data were real and turned out to be real.
Surprisingly, after the announcement if the pre-orders, only 1,275 people have managed to pre-order this new smartphone in South Korea. If we compare this with the recently launched Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 2, there were nearly 80,000 pre-orders were made.
This reliable tipster also confirmed that LG did not even plan to compete with Samsung, and made a plan to achieve atleast 3,000 LG Wing units by the end of this year. So the company is more likely to reach the goal, but the LG Wing smartphone could not become that popular as other flagship phones does.
During October sale, LG is running a promotion offers that allows early customers to get a 70% discount on screen replacement within two years of purchase.
Under the hood, in South Korea, a smartphone costs about 800 euros, while for Europe the price will be 1100 euros. And it's a really heavy difference in both the markets. Still apart from low sales and un popular, this LG wing smartphone will be of the the future based technology and innovative phones which resembles the design of the future smartphones and how the technological engineers can do differently design a basic smartphone.
