Three smartphones - with flexible screens

Well-known insider and author of the authoritative resource Androidpolice Max Weinbach (Max Weinbach) shared details about Samsung's plans for the next year. Specifically, we are talking about the flagship smartphones of the Korean company - there will be as many as seven of them. At the same time, interestingly, there is not a single Note series smartphone in the list. This is further evidence that this series will end on the Galaxy Note20 line.

As you can see, the Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 and Z Fold FE will join the four models of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. Here we especially note the conditionally budget Galaxy S21 FE and Z Fold FE - they should build on the success of the current Galaxy S20 FE. According to an insider, three of the seven models will support the S Pen stylus. Apparently, the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Z Fold 3 and Z Fold FE will be able to boast of this.

No more details have been reported, but we can confidently talk about the use of Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 and Exynos 2100 SoCs in these smartphones. And it is also known that the Galaxy S21 will debut on January 14th.

Samsung is indeed preparing a roll-up display smartphone. A sample of such a smartphone was filmed in the hands of Lee Jae-yong, vice president and de facto head of Samsung Group. 

Lee Jae Young visited the company's R&D center in Seoul on Thursday and held a strategic meeting with executives there. The event attracted media attention as it was Lee Jae Young's first official visit since the death of his father and the legendary head of Samsung. Lee Kun-hee died on October 25, 2020. 

One of the photos was officially provided by Samsung Press Service. In the photo, Lee Jae Young is second from the left, holding an unknown device and talking to the center staff. Such a Samsung device had never been shown to the public before, which also drew public attention to the event. 

The smartphone looks thinner than Samsung's foldable smartphones like the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip. Presumably, the device is a prototype of a smartphone with a flexible screen that can "stretch" and increase the available area up to the size of a tablet or roll up and become more compact. 

A similar development was patented by Samsung back in 2019. Also at the January CES 2020, the company organized a closed demonstration of such a smartphone. According to preliminary data, the device can transform from a 6-inch smartphone to an 8-inch tablet.

Oppo showed a smartphone with an infinite screen

The name Infinite Screen is selected for the display of this device

On November 17 and 18, Oppo will host the Oppo Future Technology Conference 2020 or Inno Day 2020 in Shenzhen, China. The Chinese firm is expected to showcase its innovative technology at the upcoming event.

Oppo has confirmed that it will be showing a sliding-screen smartphone at this presentation and has posted its first image. The name Infinite Screen is selected for the display of this device /

The smartphone will unfold in width, while the screen will noticeably increase diagonally.

The company also plans to showcase technologies such as 10x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom and continuous optical zoom module, 100-watt charging and other technologies at the event. All of them will be implemented in mass-produced smartphones, which will be released next year.

Chinese smartphone manufacturer CoolPad has launched it's one of the cheapest pop-up selfie camera phone called as 'CoolPad Cool 6' making it the world's cheapest Pop-up selfie camera phone available in the market. This phone is the successor to the previous CoolPad 5 phone that came with a notch unlike the full screen display with out any holes or notches disturbing the screen on this brand new CoolPad Cool 6 model. And it is the first phone to sport an uneven 21-megapixel selfie camera.

Coming to the design, the CoolPad Cool 6 model has got a full screen display with narrow bezels and smaller china resembling the design of a mid-range or high end model's design. There's a pop-up mechanism holding the selfie camera and at the back one can see a triple camera set-up arranged vertically inside a pill-shaped module that contains three sensors and a LED flash inside it. There's also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for authentication purposes.

CoolPad Cool 6 Specifications

The brand new cool looking CoolPad Cool 6 features a tall 6.53-inches IPS LCD full screen display having a screen resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. It measures 162.4 x 76.5 x 9.2 mm in dimensions and 145 grams in weight. It come pre-installed with Android 10 Operating System out-of-the box.

The performance of the phone is handled by a powerful MediaTek Helio G70 CPU that will be coupled with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB inbuilt storage options. There's also a support for external dedicated micro-SD card upto 256GB. 

Coming to the camera department, the triple rear camera set-up consists of a 48-megapixel primary sensor along with two 2-megapixel sensors to take decent photos, but the main highlight will be it's selfie camera as the phone will sport a 21-megapixel sensor housing inside a pop-up mechanism.

The phone will be fuelled with a decent 4,000mAH Battery Capacity with no fast charging support unfortunately and that will be charged by a USB Type-C port. Users can unlock this phone with a physical capacity fingerprint scanner at the middle of the back panel.

The specialists team of the well known or the popular AnTuTu benchmark has presented the latest rankings of the most popular and latest flagship android operating system based smartphones. This is the data that were collected from 1st of September to 30th September this year.

However, the table shows average points, not the highest, results, with at least 1000 test results made for each model. Surprisingly, The first place among the smartphones is from the Vivo's popular sub-brand gaming phone IQoo 5 Pro, which has managed to receive an average of score of 663752 points, the second place was still dominated by the same series standard IQoo 5 model. And the difference between the two models was almost negligible.

The third position is occupied by the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition, which has managed to get nearly 648 thousand points, which is followed by Vivo X50 Pro +. The first four smartphones in the rankings are all based on the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 SoC.

The Lenovo Legion Pro and Asus ROG Game Phone 3, which are powered with the latest and more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, positioned in only fifth and sixth respectively.

Asus ZenFone 7 is one of the best selfie camera phones for selfie lovers according to DxOMark

The new flagship phone Asus ZenFone 7 smartphone has gone through the DxOMark testing in its laboratory, and several testings on the cameras of this flagship phone was made by the engineers working over there.
