Ulefone has introduced a new rugged smartphone called as Ulefone Armor X8, which will provide decent performance, as well as an NFC module at an affordable price. We can say it's just a budget rugged device at low price.
Ulefone Armor X8 Specifications
This new Ulefone Armor X8 will feature a tall 5.70-inch tall screen with just IPS LCD HD+ display that comes with 720x1440 pixels screen resolution. It's fingerprint-resistant with Oleophobic coating on top.
It is powered by the MediaTek Helio A25 processor with IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics support, which is paired by 4GB of LPDDR4x inbuilt RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is a possibility of installing microSD memory cards upto 256GB.
The smartphone received a triple main camera with image sensors with a resolution of 13-megapixel (primary), 2-megapixel (depth sensor) and 2-megapixel (macro lens), as well as an 8-megapixel front camera. The fingerprint scanner is located on it's rear side that can unlock the device within just 0.1 secs.
This phone is fuelled with a massive 5,080mAH of battery capacity that is charged by a type-c cable and the company claims that this huge battery can provide upto 510 hours of standby time and 14.5 hours of talktime.
It also comes with a support for NFC module packed inside the phone. And the Ulefone Armor X8 also has the support for military standard MIL-STD-810G, along with the IP69K dust, water and scratch protection along with a shock proof coating from all sides and it is also capable to handle drops from 1.5m onto a hard surface.
The price of new phone is set at $160, but the company promises discounts for the first buyers and customers could be available in Black and Orange colours.
