South Korean brand LG is preparing for the launch a new entry-level smartphone that would be called as LG W31. This is the upgraded version for the LG W30 model that launched in the previous year 2019. However, key details of the upcoming LG W31 model has been listed on Google Play Console with the design.
As we can see the front design, the phone gets a dew-drop notch display on front with slight thick bezels and a larger chin at bottom. We don't have any details regarding the screen size in the Google Play Console listings but it is expected to arrive with an LCD screen resembling the entry-level device.
LG W31 Specifications
According to the listings, the LG W31 phone sports an HD+ Display with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 280ppi pixel density. It will also have a regular 20:9 aspect ratio.
The device will be powered by MediaTek Helio P22 (MT6762) processor which is a decent processor and not the powerful processor and unfortunately it is the same chipset what we have seen in the previous LG W30 model. The LG W31 model has 4GB of RAM and it comes pre-installed with Android 10 Operating System out of the box.
The additional specifications of the phone is yet to be revealed and traditionally any new phone listed on Google Play Console are known to be announced soon. Hence, it is likely that the LG W31 may go official soon. An we may also see good number of phones in W-series with LG W11 and will be the upgraded version of the last year's LG W10 model.
LG W30 Specifications
The LG W30 featured a 6.26-inch IPS LCD HD+ display 720 x 1520 pixels of screen resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by MediaTek's Helio P22 processor and will be powered by 3GB / 4GB of RAM along with 32GB and 64GB storage options. On front, it houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and it sports a triple camera set-up 12-megapixel (primary) + 13-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (depth sensor). The phone is fuelled by a decent 4,000mAh battery capacity.
