Samsung has high hopes for the 'A' series phones the Galaxy A72 and A52, with combined sales of 30 million units

The largest smartphone brand Samsung in the recent years focused on the innovation to increase the design, focussing on the performance, battery and especially optimising on the camera department. As Samsung have launched the world's first quad rear camera phone with Galaxy A9 2020 nearly two years back.

This time Samsung doesn't satisfy with it and is soon going to launch a smartphone with five rear cameras or Penta rear camera set-up. However this will not be the first brand to introduce 5 camera smartphone brand, as Xiaomi and Huawei have succeeded in launching the phones with five rear cameras.

Samsung is planning to launch a smartphone soon that will carry an amazing penta rear sensors and it could be none other than on the most successful 'A' series lineup and than will be called as 'Galaxy A72' according to the sources.

The Samsung will not restrict to use five sensors on the Galaxy 'A' series line up only, but is also planning to implement this on the future midrange and flagship phones in the upcoming days starting next year. So, the Samsung 'Galaxy A72' will not be the only smartphone to arrive with five cameras, but we may see this set-up in almost all of the phones launching next year which is a path for the future generation innovation.

However, sources also reveals the upcoming phone's camera sensors along with details all cameras carried by the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A72. According to sources, the phone will have a 64-megapixel (primary camera), a 12-megapixel (wide-angle camera), and an 8-megapixel (telephoto lens) with 3x optical zoom. And other two sensors will have the resolution of 5-megapixels, one for (depth sensing) and other for (macro shooting). It is expected to be the first smartphone in this whole series that will have an optical image stabilization (OIS) support. Most likely, the front camera will sport 32-megapixel sensor.

The source also reveals that the new Samsung Galaxy A52 will retain a quad camera set-up on the rear unlike the five cameras on the Galaxy A72 model. Samsung also believe that the Galaxy A72 and A52, will have an estimated combined sales of 30 million units or simply nearly 10% of Samsung's total smartphone sales.

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy A72 will be released in the first half of 2021 and not sooner this year.
