YouTube finally launched YouTube Shorts to compete with TikTok

Yes Guys! YouTube team has announced the launch of the Shorts feature to compete with the highly popular TikTok short video sharing service.

YouTube Shorts is currently in beta testing. The built-in YouTube Shorts filming tool is currently only available in India. International users can create these videos using other methods and add #Shorts to the title or description.  

Users can create short vertical videos up to 60 seconds in length. They are shown not only on the authors' channels, but also in a special section on the main YouTube page.

The built-in Shorts camera tool lets you create clips up to 15 seconds long. It also allows you to combine multiple records, add music, control the playback speed, there is a timer for shooting without an assistant. 

Although YouTube Shorts accepts videos up to 60 seconds in length, the developers recommend focusing on a “simpler and more engaging” 15-second format for viewers.
