In August, Ulefone announced plans to release the world's first rugged 5G phone, and now the manufacturer has clarified the model's release date. The Ulefone Armor 8 5G smartphone is due to launch at the end of November for $1,000 and has already listed on its official website.
The manufacturers also released a video comparing the speed of the Ulefone Armor 8 5G 5G networks and the speed of the iPhone 11 in the 4G network. The download speed of Armor 8 5G data reaches 450 Mbps, and the upload occurs at speeds up to 114 Mbps. At the same time, the data transfer rate of iPhone 11 can reach a maximum of 40Mbps.
Ulefone Armor 8 5G specifications
The smartphone has got a 6.7-inch tall display with dew-drop on top for housing the selfie camera for the 5G model and is built on the eight-core single-chip MediaTek Dimensity 800 processor, and it will receive 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal flash memory (a regular Ulefone Armor 8 without 5G support will have 4/64 GB of memory).
Ulefone Armor 8 4G (non 5G model) will receive a 6.1-inch display, with MediaTek Helio P60 CPU, Triple cameras, 5580mAh Battery Capacity. This smartphone was priced at $140.
