Samsung Galaxy S21 will also remain without a sub-screen camera

For flagship Samsung smartphones, whose screens receive the highest DisplayMate rating year after year, such obvious artifacts on the screen are unacceptable.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone, due out early next year, will be one of the first devices on the market to feature the Snapdragon 875 SoC.

However, sources claim that the Samsung Galaxy S21, like the Xiaomi Mi 11, may be left without a sub-screen camera, which the Chinese manufacturer already showed in work last week.

Sources said today that the South Korean giant will not use sub-screen camera technology in the Samsung Galaxy S21, which is still not mature enough for use in smartphones.

This was confirmed by live photos of the first smartphone with a sub-screen camera ZTE Axon 20 5G, which, according to the creators, uses the third generation of technology. In photographs, the camera area is clearly visible.

For flagship smartphones Samsung, whose screens receive the highest DisplayMate rating year after year, such obvious artifacts on the screen are unacceptable, so the manufacturer will wait until the technology becomes even more advanced.

Earlier it was reported that the current prototype Xiaomi Mi 11 also lacks a sub- screen camera - it received a reduced opening from the display for the traditional front camera.

However, the start has been made anyway, and next year many similar phones will appear on the market.
