The new platform may be even faster than the Snapdragon 765G
Qualcomm has enhanced its 5G processor lineup with a new mid-range model, the Snapdragon 750G. This new CPU received a 5G Snapdragon X52 modem which is the same used in the older Snapdragon 765G. But what's more interesting, judging by the installed components and the statements of Qualcomm itself, the Snapdragon 750G can even beat the Snapdragon 765G in terms of performance.
The fact is that the Snapdragon 750G uses the 2.2 GHz Kryo 570 cores versus the 2.4 GHz Kryo 475 in the Snapdragon 765G here is the main difference. In fact, both SoCs use powerful ARM Cortex-A77 cores and energy-efficient Cortex A-55. Qualcomm claims that the performance of the new product will be 20% higher than that of the Snapdragon 730G, but the Snapdragon 765G is not far behind the Snapdragon 730G in terms of performance. So the new platform may even be able to beat the Snapdragon 765G Chipset, or at least demonstrate the same performance.
Also in the configuration Snapdragon 750G GPU is Adreno 619 (whereas Snapdragon 765G - Adreno 620) and adapters Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The platform supports Full HD+ screens with a frame rate of 120 Hz, QuickCharge 4+ technology, up to 12GB of LPDDR4X 2133 MHz RAM, and 4K HDR10 video recording.
Qualcomm has promised ready-made devices based on Snapdragon 750G by the end of the year, but the first smartphone on this platform will be released by Xiaomi.
