We have seen, Poco X3 NFC smartphone launched with amazing design, specs and price. But now the same brand have officially announced the Poco M2 phone in the market.
However, the new Poco M2 phone is the rebranded model of the previous Redmi 9 smartphone that launched earlier this year. It comes with almost same specifications except for a difference in RAM department.
Poco M2 Design
This new phone gets slight thicker bezels all-around with a slight larger chin at bottom and the display gets a dew-drop notch for housing a selfie sensor looks that looks decent from front.
And from the back, we can see a quad camera set-up with three cameras and a fingerprint reader are placed vertically on a pill-shaped module along with a fourth sensor and a LED flash on the other module placed beside it.
Poco M2 Specifications
The phone features a tall 6.53-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD Display with 1080x2340 Pixels Screen Resolution making it 20:9 Aspect Ratio.
And it comes with Android 10 Operating System out of the box and the company's custom MIUI 11 skin on top (soon will be upgraded to MIUI 12).
It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek's Helio G80 CPU which is a powerful 4G processor and is paired with upto 6GB of Inbuilt RAM that supports 128GB of internal storage options, which can be expandable further upto 256GB via micro-SD slot.
In the camera department, the quad rear camera set-up includes a 13-megapixel Primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 5-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel macro lens with dual-LED Flash on top.
And for selfies, there's an 8MP sensor housed for taking selfies and video calls, not great but decent.
In the battery section, the phone packs a large 5,000mAH Battery with 18W fast charging support.
The main highlight of this phone will be its splash and rust protection along with p2i nano coating on top.
There's a rear-mounted Fingerprint Sensor and Face Unlock feature to unlock the phone and it will be available in Red, Black and Blue colour options.

Conclusion
However, this is just a rebranded version of the Redmi 9 with almost similar specs, no great cameras, but all other specs are good for the price and looks amazing.
