Games developed for PlayStation 5 take up a lot of SSD space
According to data released by independent gaming industry analyst Benji-Sales on Twitter, the PlayStation 5 has a big problem, and it's called the SSD. It's not about the performance of the SSD, but about its volume.

Miles Morales Ultimate minimum install - 105GB

As you know, the PlayStation 5 SSD is 825 GB. Is this a lot? According to the analyst - very little. And here's his argument: just two games take up a fifth of the built-in storage. So, Demon's Souls requires a minimum of 66 GB, and Spider-Man: Miles Morales - as much as 105 GB! It's not hard to imagine how quickly an active player will run out of space on an SSD. For comparison, the SSD size of the Xbox Series X is not much, but still more: 1 TB.
Interestingly, according to the same analyst, at the start of the PlayStation 5 sales, there will be no more affordable version of the console - the Digital Edition, or its offer will be severely limited. The $ 400 PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is rumored to be selling at a loss, which is why Sony wants to delay the launch of this version until a later date. Although the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition purchased as part of the pre-order will ship on time. According to preliminary data, in the US, this version of the console accounts for about a quarter of the demand.
