This new smartphone was codenamed 'Kebab', which will have a tall 6.55-inch AMOLED Display, similar to the base OnePlus 8 phone, but with a higher 120Hz refresh rate unlike the 90Hz refresh rate on the OnePlus 8 model.
The OnePlus 8T phone will get a quad camera set-up with the same a 48-megapixel main sensor and not the upgraded 64-megapixel sensor leaked from previous source, and it will also have a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 5 megapixel macro sensor and a 2-megapixel camera for portrait photography. So, is noted that unlike the OnePlus 8's 48MP camera, the new OnePlus 8T will use a newer image sensor that will provide higher quality photos.
The performance of the phone will depend on the top-end Qualcomm's CPU which is Snapdragon 865+ which is 10% more powerful than the Snapdragon 865 CPU, and will be paired with 8GB of inbuilt RAM and 128GB of massive internal storage. The smartphone will be preinstalled out of the box with the OxygenOS 11 shell based on the latest Android 11.0 operating system.
OnePlus plans to launch the OnePlus 8T in late September or the first week of October it's not clear but will launch soon.
