MIUI 12 update on Redmi Note 9 is giving serious issues to the phone and drop in performance

Xiaomi has launched the second stage of distributing the MIUI 12 branded shell for its smartphones. The update does not go smoothly for all models. An example of such a problematic MIUI 12 update was the firmware for Redmi Note 9. 

MIUI 12 is already available for Redmi Note 9 in the form of global, European and Indian firmware. In August, Xiaomi relaunched the update for the global Redmi Note 9 for unknown reasons. Meanwhile, users are intensely complaining in the official Mi Community about various smartphone issues after installing the MIUI 12 update.

 

Basically, users are unhappy with the decrease in system performance. They also note that the popular Pokemon Go game has literally become inoperative on MIUI 12 due to delays and freezes. Some users have stopped working Wi-Fi on their smartphone. 

Officially, Xiaomi did not react to the situation. However, the Mi Community moderator responded to one of the complaints, assuring that the developers are aware of the existing problems and are working on fixing them.  

In the official Indian online store Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 9 smartphone is offered at a price of 11,990 INR.
