LG Electronics has finally announced the most innovative phone till date from its company te 'LG Wing' smartphone. This model gets dual displays based on rotating form factor and completely a new design.

The LG Wing first screen rotates clockwise which is a feature that is never seen on any smartphone, and the main display features a tall 6.8-inch P-OLED screen with a screen resolution of 1080x2460 pixels which can be rotated in to horizontal mode, giving access to the secondary 3.9-inch G-OLED display with a screen resolution of 1240x1080 pixels, that looks cool as you can use it as a key pad for the main screen too.

The secondary screen could also be used to manage content while watching videos on the main screen, chatting purposed, messages and could also be used as a key button bar for playing games too apart from using it as a key board.

The company even claims the brand new LG Wing has gone through multiple durability tests including stress tests, shock tests, bending tests, and touch sensors and key press tests. The swivel was also tested over 2 lakh times which is unbeatable.

The smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC which is a 5G enabled processor that will be paired up with 8GB of RAM and 128 or 256GB of built-in storage.

The phone gets a triple camera set-up with 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens for shooting in swivel mode and a 13 megapixel ultra-wide sensor with 117° FOV.

However, a 32-megapixel sensor is placed on a pop-up module which is the first time they the company side.

It features an under-screen fingerprint sensor for authentication and will be available in Blue and Black colour options.

The phone will have a decent 4,000mAh Battery with support for wireless charging (Qi). LG should have given fast charging support that would have been better.

5G, Wi-Fi (802.11 a / b / g / n / ac), Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC are supported, there is a USB Type-C port for charging or data transfer. 

Surprisingly, despite having pop-up mechanism and swivelling structure it gains IP54 protection against water and dust resistance and the company even claims the internal body parts are splash proof coated.

Dimensions are 169.5 x 74.5 x 10.9 mm and weighs 260 grams only despite having two screens which is nice. 

The first region where LG Wing will appear was South Korea, but then it will appear in Europe and the United States. In Europe, the price will be 1100 euros, and will start it's sales starting November this year. The initial sales start in Korea will take place in October.
