They work only in China for now
First, Xiaomi implemented earthquake warnings in the firmware of its smartphones, and now Huawei has done the same. Such a function, according to the source, appeared in EMUI 11.
The firmware supports early warnings of earthquakes so that the user still has time to reach the shelter. The screen simultaneously displays the locations of the nearest shelters and data for contacting emergency services.
The second new feature of EMUI 11 is video communication with the police. It starts automatically when the local police number 110 is dialed. The real-time transmission of data during such a call should help police officers better understand the emergency situation in which the person finds himself.
Currently EMUI 11 earthquake warning works in Sichuan province, and video calls to the police in Guangdong province.
Extra Features and Upgrades
To recall, the Chinese tech giant Huawei has launched its latest software, the EMUI 11, at the Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) event in Dongguan, China.
This is the Android-based User Interface, but is not based on Android 11 despite this it brought various changes and improvements that are gorgeous than other custom User Interface.
Huawei has focused on enhancing the user experience on this new custom EMUI 11. This includes certain changes in the Always-on Display (AOD) feature on company devices.
Now users will get lots of customisation options along with new interesting themes, and animated elements.
Users will be able to put any picture, or live video, or Graphics Interchange Format (GIF) on the AOD, as reported from the sources and finally we could say there are a good number of upgrades from the previous EMUI 10.
