Snapdragon 732G is a slightly overclocked version of Snapdragon 730G
Rumors of a mid-range processor the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G CPU today have been confirmed at the official level and this SoC is an upgraded version for the last year's Snapdragon 730G CPU. And the manager of the Poco brand Sam Jiang has already rushed to announce that the first smartphone based on the new SoC will be the new 'Poco'.
Obviously it will be the Poco X3 that has been talked about a lot these days . “We believe that the smartphone will become a new benchmark in the mid-range device category, completely redefining the relationship between the price of a phone and its capabilities,” Sam Jiang described the Poco X3.
Why is there so much talk about Poco and so little about the new platform? Yes, simply because innovations are minuscule. Most importantly, the fourth generation AI engine, a slightly increased frequency of the Kryo 470 processor (from 2.2 to 2.3 GHz), as well as "improved graphics rendering" using the same Adreno 618 GPU. There is no 5G modem - in. The Snapdragon 732G uses the same X15 LTE modem as the Snapdragon 730G. Due to a different work with the acceleration of AI applications, Qualcomm promises a little more autonomy. The Snapdragon 732G also features some of the features of the Snapdragon Elite Gaming.
The single-chip system is already available to developers. Ready-made solutions based on it are being prepared, and as for Poco X3, it should be released in the near future.
