Apart from the Motorola One Fusion Plus, the company launched a new mid range 5G phone named as, Motorola G 5G Plus which is a new phone in G series. This new member of the family has got interesting design and specifications to compete with the OnePlus Nord phone. And almost all the specifications are similar to the OnePlus Nord model.
This new phone has 6.70-inch taller screen with Full HD+ Resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz and this is the first time that Motorola have used a dual hole-punch cameras on the top left corner and interestingly, these punch-hole cameras are not joint but separated from each other without any pill shaped notch and that looks nice. And at the back we can see a quad rear camera set-up arranged inside a squarish module and it contains a 48-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide Lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor which have similar resolutions to the OnePlus Nord.
And for selfies, there's a dual sensor side by side with 16-megapixel and 8-megapixel resolutions which will give amazing selfies. And the phone will have Android 10 Operating system with Stock Android User Interface and hence no blotwares, no ads which I like most from Motorola.
And coming to the hardware section the phone packs a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G CPU with 5G connectivity which is built on 7nm process and 4/6GB of RAM and 64/128GB of Internal Storage and you can expand this memory upto 1TB via micro-SD. The main highlight of this phone is the massive 5,000mAH Battery with decent 20W fast charging support and I think it should have atleast 30W to beat the competition but it's fine. However it has got a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
So, this time motorola didn't compromise in the design department or the hardware section and new features, new design and 5G connectivity makes the phone to be in the competition and it also has a water repellant body to save it from water and overall it's a good 5G phone in the market right now.
And the price will be aggressive in India and other markets. The Motorola G 5G phone is priced at 349 Euros which is 29,000 INR or $390 Dollars for the 4GB and 64GB variant and 399 Euros which is 33,100 INR or $445 Dollars for the 6GB and 128GB variant and we know the price is higher in the European markets and will be much cheaper to the rest of the world and it will be available on the European markets from July 8th 2020.
