Vivo Y50 with Punch-Hole Display, 5000mAH Battery Launched: Full Specifications, Price, Reviews

Vivo the smartphone maker company has launched a new mid-range phone with a Punch-Hole Display and massive 5,000mAH Battery in India which is a much needed phone in india as for now as Vivo phones are the best selling brands this year.

Excellent Design:

The phone came with a full screen display that having a tiny punch-hole notch aligned to the top left corner for the selfie camera and the bezels are slimmer and looks fine from the front.

From the back, one can see a Quad camera set-up with three cameras and a LED Flash aligned vertically and the fourth sensor is placed on the other module placed right side to it.

There's also a rear mounted physical capacitive fingerprint sensor at the centre and Vivo branding located at the bottom here. However the design of the phone looks stylish with new colours on the back panel.

Specifications:

Vivo Y50 phone sports a tall 6.53-inch Full HD+ i-View Display and i-view in the sense nothing but a marketing term in my opinion and comes with 1080x2340 Pixels Screen Resolution that having 20:9 Aspect Ratio.

It runs on the latest Android 10 Operating System out-of-the box with company's custom FunTouch OS 10.1 skin on top which is the latest one till now.

The Qualcomm's Snapdragon 665 CPU powers up the phone which is a bolt older as per now orelse should have been over 700 series which could have been better and is paired with 8GB of RAM that having single 128GB of Internal Storage that can be expandable further upto 256GB via micro SD card slot.

Four decent cameras on the back side includes a 13-megapixel Main Shooter, and 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide Sensor, a 2-megapixel Depth Sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter but one thing notice here is a 48MP Main sensor is the commonly used sensor on all mid range phones these days and 13MP Sensor is something to think about if you are buying the phone for Video Recordings or Photography.

And on the front for selfies, there's a 16-megapixel sensor which looks decent and is housing inside a Punch-Hole notch.

The larger 5,000mAH of Battery capacity will last up to the day which is one of the main highlight of this phone and will have a 15W Fast Charging support.

There's a Fingerprint Sensor on the back panel, and this phone is listed in Starry Black, Blue and White colour options.

It is available for  Rs.17,9990 Indian Rupees i,e approximately $238 for the lone variant and will start it sales from 10th of June via Official Stores.

Highlights:

Display:  6.53-inches FHD+ i-View

Screen Resolution: 1080x2340 Pixels

Operating System:  Android 10 OS

Rear Cameras:  13MP+8MP+2MP+2MP

Selfie Camera:  16MP

Battery:  5,000mAH (15W)

Conclusion:

Overall this phone has got an amazing stylish design with a larger battery packing inside it, but the cameras on the phone are not that competitive and running with older CPU is a bit disappointment for the most of the buyers.
