Huawei P Smart S with OLED Display, Under-Display Fingerprint Sensor Launched: Full Specifications, Price, Reviews

Huawei P Smart S with OLED Display, Under-Display Fingerprint Sensor Launched: Full Specifications, Price, Reviews

Huawei has launched a new mid range phone named as Huawei P Smart S with decent specifications which is the rebranded version of the last year's Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus. So it's not the unique designed phone but just the same phone with a new name and is really unique altogether.

The phone has got a dew-drop notch which is an old design in my opinion as punch-hole camera phones are most commonly used by smartphone company these days and has got thicker bezels and a slight larger chin at bottom.

The back panel sports a triple camera set-up housed inside a pill-shaped module with a LED Flash sitting inside it aligned vertically in a straight line.

Here we do have the company's branding located here at the bottom and overall the design looks decent, but not that great for the modern day competition as it is a bit older design from the modern day phones .

Huawei P Smart S Specifications:

The Huawei P Smart S phone came with a large 6.30-inch Full HD+ OLED Display and this OLED screen will increase the viewing experience by adding punchy colours to the phone and has 1080x2340 Pixels Screen Resolution with 19:5:9 Aspect Ratio which may be slimmer.

The latest Android 10 Operating System pairs up with company's custom EMUI 10.1 User Interface.

The phone is  equipped by HiSilicon Kirin 710F CPU which is built on 12nm process which is far away older than the latest CPU i,e Kirin 800 SoC's using 7nm process which are more power efficient and smooth performing than older company's chips and is paired with 4GB of RAM that having 128GB of Internal Storage which is more than enough for a phone to handle daily tasks operating on the phone.

The triple cameras on the back gets a 48-megapixel Main Shooter for amazing photos with 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide Sensor to capture more area and a 2-megapixel Depth Sensor to get more details of an image.

There's a 16-megapixel Selfie sensor housing inside a Dew-Drop notch is best for selfies and video callings as it provides utmost clear pics or videos which are enough for a normal phone.

The battery section will pack a decent 4,000mAH of capacity with 10W Fast Charging support. However the fast charging capability is decent and not that much good but still helps a little to decrease the charging speed.

The phone has also got an Under-Display Fingerprint Sensor, which will be seen in Dark Blue and Light Blue colour options which is not solid but gradient textures.

The phone is set for a price tag of 250 Euros which is 282 Dollars approximately for the one  and only 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant and is available for pre-orders in Italy.

Conclusion:

Overall this phone looks good but not competitive as the processor is a bit older ones and the buyer should compromise in the design department for a dew-drop notch phone which is not something to buy in this 2020 in my opinion and OLED Panel and Under-Display Fingerprint sensor are the main highlights of this phone.
