Redmi K40 and K40 Pro first live images leaked looks extraordinary in terms of design

Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is soon going to launch its flagship devices, the Redmi K40 and K40 pro models which are the successors to the previous Redmi K30 series phones. So we have got the live hands on images of the phone covered under a case and this is your first look at the Redmi K40 model's front design and as you can see razer thin bezels here with ultra thin chins.

This time the company opted a centred aligned hole-punch notch replacing pop-up module and dual selfie cameras on the previous Redmi K30 models. The phone has got a flat display and it is something weird as it has got ultra-thin bezels and chins which is never seen on any smartphone before.

And from the back, it does got many upgrades in the camera arrangement, we can see the cameras arranged inside three different modules, one matching the colour of the back panel, other looks shiny for the main sensor and the remaining three cameras under a dark black module.

There's also an autofocus sensor sitting beside it along with a LED flash on top. So we can see the sim-tray slot on the left side of the phone, so the volume rocker keys and power button could be on the right side of the phone. And at bottom one can see a speaker grille, type-c port and thankfully a headphone jack placed one after another.

Based on reports, the K40 model will include an OLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It should also have Sony's IMX 686 primary sensor in its quad camera set-up. It could also be powered with MediaTek's Dimensity 1000+ CPU which is a top-end 5G CPU launched by the company.

This could be the render of the pro model that gets an interesting design and similarly, the K40 pro model will include upgraded features as it will pack the Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 888 CPU and will pack a huge 4,970mAH of Battery capacity with an amazing 55W fast charging support.

This model will have the same OLED Display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Unfortunately we don't have much information regarding these phones but are expected to launch in the early 2021 next year.
