After good number of rumors and leaks Oppo have finally launched the most awaited Oppo Reno 5 and 5 Pro 5G phones in China and these are the upper mid-range phones from Oppo that looks stylish with an amazing design and delicious looking back panel colours with diamond craft design like the previous Reno 4 series phones. Both phones almost look identical to each other but vary in some departments.
Coming to the specs, the Reno 5 model is smaller with 6.43-inch Full HD+ Display with 90Hz refresh rate while the pro model is taller with 6.55-inch Display and the base model gets a flat screen while the pro model has got a curved screen and we can see a punch-hole on upper left corner.
The standard model gets a Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765 Processor while the pro model gets MediaTek's powerful 1000+ CPU and both the processors have inbuilt 5G support and are built on 7nm technology so the performance will be really amazing.
Both models have 8/12GB RAM options with 128/256GB of Storage variants. And both models have identical set of cameras with a 64-megapixel quad camera set-up and has got a 32-megapixel selfie shooter to take selfies. Coming to the battery section, the Reno 5 model has got a 4,300mAH capacity while the pro with a 4,350mAH battery capacity which is almost similar and not a major difference and comes with an ultra fast 65W fast charging support.
Both models will have an Under-screen fingerprint sensor and will run on Android 11 OS based on Color OS 11.1 user interface on top. So, for those who are interested you could choose in between Starry Dream, Aurora Blue and Moon Light Black colour options while the pro model gets an additional Star Wish Red colour options which looks stunning among all.
Finally coming to the prices, the Reno 5 model starts at 2,699 CNY which is almost 30,400 INR for the base variant and 3,399 CNY i,e nearly 38,300 INR. These two phones have already available for booking in China on it's official website.
So, the Reno 5 phones are one of the most stylish looking devices of 2020 and I noticed minor upgrades from the previous Reno 4 series but it's gonna be one of the most competitive phones for the upcoming competitors.
