Here is our first look at the most awaited OnePlus 9 model which is the affordable flagship model in the upcoming OnePlus 9 series phones. I really like the standard model as it gets flagship specs under minimal price and I know it do lacks some pro features like curved Display, IP68 rating and more cameras but many people choose base model than the pro model.
So the OnePlus 9 is coming with a new design and new features and it gets a flat display like the OnePlus 8T model and the company still prefer to use punch-hole on the upper left corner.
It gets a 6.55-inches Full HD+ Display with 120Hz refresh rate, so we can say its a major upgrade from 90Hz to 120Hz display. So, its a decent front design with narrow bezels and chins and not more different from OnePlus 8 pro models.
The major design changes is on the back panel as we can see that the phone gets a Silver glossy finish which is a new colour option for OnePlus. And this camera section has got some changes with two huge sensors along with a smaller lens that may be macro or a monochrome sensor and if the company uses the telephoto lens it would be really amazing.
This module gets a branding Ultra Shot which the company could not use in its final model as it is something that Oppo uses in its smartphones. So its not a great design but looks decent for me.
So there's an alert slider, power button and volume rocker keys on sides and sim card tray, type-c port and speaker grilles at bottom and a single microphone hole on top. And the phone will get all the latest features and mainly the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 888 5G CPU which will boost up the performance along with Adreno 660 GPU. It also gets a decent 4,500mAH Battery which is fine as the company provides an amazing 65W fast charging support which is one of the key features of the phone.
So, we don't have the exact information regarding the camera department, but hopefully the company will use the 48-megapixel camera and a super-wide angle lens and will carry a 16-megapixel shooter on front for selfies. So the first sensor could be Sony IMX689 similar to the OnePlus 8 Pro model and the second one could be IMX586 sensor along with a macro or monochrome and if the company will use the telephoto lens it would be amazing.
So, these hands on images completely revealed the exact design of the phone from all sides and thankfully we have got our first glimpse at OnePlus 9 model. More hands on videos regarding the OnePlus 9 Pro and OnePlus 9E models will be revealed on this website.
