The under-screen camera was not delivered

Chinese sources have published the first photos showing an engineering sample of the Samsung Galaxy S21 smartphone in the on state. The insider who leaked the photos claims that this is the standard version of the Galaxy S21 series, not the Galaxy S21 + or Galaxy S21 Ultra.

In the photos, we are shown the settings section for the main and front cameras, while it is clearly seen that the smartphone's selfie camera will be embedded in the central upper part of the screen. That is, Samsung, as previously reported by insiders, does not use the sub-screen camera technology in the Galaxy S21.

The settings screen confirms that the main camera supports video recording up to 8K @ 30fps. Also, not all modes will support High Dynamic Range and Auto Focus (in the front camera).

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC will be unveiled at the Snapdragon Technology Summit on December 1 this year. This platform should become the gold standard for the flagships of the Android world next year. The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Xiaomi Mi 11 should be among the first smartphones to use this platform.

The Galaxy S21 is expected to be presented in February 2021.
