Why does a smartphone need so many flashes?
Fresh images of the OnePlus 8T smartphone have appeared on the internet once again, and they are designed a little different from the previously published renders. And although the device itself cannot be seen in the new pictures, the back panel is showcased and the camera module and set-up is clearly visible.
It actually consists of four camera modules. In the upper one, apparently, an ultra-wide-angle lens, on the average - just a wide-angle lens, and the lower module is a camera unit for macro shooting. To the right of it, apparently, there is a block responsible for analyzing the depth of the scene. Here, it seems, everything is traditional and understandable. And even two flashes on the right with cold and warm LEDs are all inside the module. But why is another additional flash installed? On the one hand, it can be used exclusively for macro shooting, and on the other hand, it can be just some kind of design accent, or just an additional indicator. In general, in this place, OnePlus could come up with something new.
However, Oneplus 8T will be officially presented on October 14th. The smartphone will featur a tall 6.55-inch Super AMOLED screen with a frame rate of 120Hz, Snapdragon 865 SoC and support for 65W charging. It is already known that there will be no 8T Pro model. But some rumours also suggest the launch on OnePlus 8T Ultra instead of OnePlus 8T Pro.
