Finally we have got the confirmation regarding the most awaited Jio Phone and the company is doing going to announce a new phone the Jio Phone 3 which will be the successor to the previous Jio Phone 2 after a long time.
Previously we have learned that Jio is planning to announce the new Jio Phones with 5G connectivity which will become the most affordable 5G phone in the market and will be the first 5G phone to run with 5G networks and i,e from one and only Reliance Jio. Now finally Jio Phone is also on the way to launch in India sooner.
Jio Phone 3 Specifications
According to the sources, the upcoming JioPhone 3 will look similar to the previous Jio Phones with Candybar form factor. Hence the device will use the older T9 keypad below the screen and will come with a plastic body. So we couldn't see major upgrades in the hardware and software department this time.
Display
The screen will be of 2.40-inches QVGA TFT Display like the previous models.
RAM & Storage
The JioPhone 3 is powered by Dual-core processor paired with 512MB of inbuilt RAM and 4GB internal storage. It also comes with a dedicated microSD card slot for extra storage capacity.
Cameras
The phone will sport a 2-megapixel rear camera with fixed focus capability and VGA selfie sensor.
Battery & OS
Coming to the battery, the JioPhone 3 packs a decent 1,500 mAh battery and runs on Kai OS out of the box.
Connectivity Options
The connectivity options includes just a Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE like the previous phone, supports Bluetooth 4.1, a micro USB port for charging purposes, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio and Wifi support.
Availability & Pricing
The new JioPhone 3 is expected to launch in the upcoming which is on early November in India. Leaks suggest that the new JioPhone 3 will be priced under Rs.999/- in India.
