10.4-inch screen, Snapdragon 662 and four speakers

Samsung has sold out - the company's new products are pouring out of a cornucopia. Another one is the Galaxy Tab A7 - the mid-range model is very similar to last year's Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. Only the platform is different and there is no support for the proprietary S Pen stylus.

Galaxy Tab A7 received a 10.4-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels and four speakers with support for Dolby Atmos technology. The hardware platform is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 CPU (the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, we recall, uses Exynos 9611), the amount of RAM is 3 GB, the built-in flash memory is 32 or 64 GB.

The configuration also includes a slot for microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 1 TB, a 7040 mAh battery (alas, it did not support fast charging - Samsung is generally bad with this), a 5-megapixel front camera (it provides face recognition, and this the only form of biometric identification supported by the device) and an 8MP main camera. There's also an LTE modem and Android 10 Operating S ystem with One UI 2.5 right out of the box.

There is no data on the cost yet - prices will be announced closer to the start of sales of new items. The situation is similar with the announced today Galaxy A42 5G : there are official renders and some technical details, but there are no prices yet.
