Samsung Galaxy A42 is the first smartphone to get the Snapdragon 750G CPU

The first smartphone to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G CPU is from Samsung and not by Xiaomi

Yesterday, Qualcomm have announced the Snapdragon 750G mid- range SoC , which received the Snapdragon X52 5G modem.

Qualcomm has promised to release devices based on the Snapdragon 750G by the end of the year, with the expectations of the first smartphone on this platform supposedly to be released by Xiaomi.

However, Samsung already has a smartphone based on the Snapdragon 750G. Yes, we are talking about the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G . When the company unveiled the device, it did not provide the name of the SoC. It has been suggested that the smartphone uses the Snapdragon 690 SoC.

Now it turns out that the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is the first in the Snapdragon 750G smartphone market. At the time of the announcement of the smartphone, the chipset had not yet been presented, so Samsung could not provide the name of the platform used.

The smartphone featured a tall 6.60-inch Super AMOLED Display with 1080x2400 Pixels Screen Resolution, a 48-megapixel camera quad camera set-up, 20-megapixel selfie shooter, a 5,000mAh Battery Capacity, 4GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of internal storage. It has been launched for around 370 Euros in the market.
