In the spring, Vivo Mobile Communications filed a patent application with the National Intellectual Property Office of China, details of which have emerged only now.

The patent contains images of a Vivo smartphone, which is supposedly equipped with a modern camera with a periscope module. The screen has rather narrow bezels and a hole for the front camera.

On the right, there is a volume rocker, a power button and a smartphone lock, as well as a key that is convenient to use to release the camera shutter in horizontal mode of use.

The main camera has four image sensors, including the main one with the largest lens. The bottom module is rectangular, this is a clear confirmation of the use of a periscope camera for optical zoom, the magnification of which is not named.

Vivo previously introduced a unique gimbal for image stabilization in the Vivo X50 Pro smartphone. Perhaps the camera of the new smartphone will borrow this solution.

There is a horizontal line under the camera on the back. The case will probably be made of different materials or covered with different colors. It is unlikely that the lower part of the back panel is reserved for an additional display, like the Vivo Nex Dual Display . In this case, the front camera would not be needed.
