Confirmed waterdrop notch and 4GB RAM
Redmi is preparing to launch another inexpensive smartphone on the market - the Redmi 9i model will be presented on September 15, as evidenced by the official teaser.
The new smartphone will debut in India and will complement the lineup of Redmi 9 Prime, Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A. Probably, the novelty will take an intermediate position between the last two - Redmi 9A and Redmi 9.

The design of the front panel of the smartphone is confirmed by a teaser - the developers have not come up with anything better than a drop-shaped cutout. The teaser also confirms the presence of 4 GB of RAM. Previously well-known insider Ishan Agarwal revealed that the Redmi 9i will have two versions - with 64 and 128 GB of flash memory, but in both cases - with 4 GB of RAM. There will be three color options: green, blue and black. The insider also named the estimated cost of the smartphone - $110.
