Redmi 9i with 5,000mAH Battery, 6.53-inch Display Launched for just 8,299/- INR

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi have launched a most affordable phone in its Redmi 9 series which is called as Redmi 9i with decent specifications. 6.53-inch tall Display, Android 10 Operating System and 5,000mAH massive Battery are the main highlights of this phone.

Redmi 9i Design

This new phone gets slight thicker bezels all-around with a slight larger chin at bottom, and on top there's a dew-drop notch housing a selfie sensor.

And from the back, we can see single rear camera aligned on a pill-shaped module vertically with a LED Flash sitting inside it.

The back panel is made up of a poly carbonate material with curved edges and rounded corners which looks nice.

Redmi 9i Specifications

The phone features a tall 6.53-inch HD+ LCD Display with 720x1600 Pixels Screen Resolution making it 19:5:9 Aspect Ratio.

And it comes with Android 10.0 Operating System out of the box with MIUI 11 skin on top. It has also a thickness of 9.0mm.

It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Hello G25 CPU with Hyper Engine Gaming technology and is paired with 4GB of Inbuilt RAM that supports 64/128GB of internal storage options, which can be expandable further upto 256GB via micro-SD slot.

In the camera department, the single rear camera set-up includes a 13-megapixel main sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a single-LED flash on top.

And for selfies, there's an 5-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture housed inside a dew-drop notch for taking selfies and video calls, not great but decent.

In the battery section, the phone packs a really  huge 5,000mAH Battery with 10W fast charging support and weighs about 195 grams.

There's no Fingerprint Sensor on this phone, so one have to use Face Unlock feature to unlock the phone and it will be available in Midnight Black, Sea Blue and Nature Green.

However this phone have already launched in India and is available for pre-orders on Mi.com and flipkart stores and will start it's sales from September 18th.
