OnePlus 8T approved to come with Snapdragon 865 and Android 11 out of the box

OnePlus 8T launch could take place before the end of the month

The OnePlus 8T is approaching, and the upcoming flagship has recently been certified by the Bureau of Standards of India (BIS). Some details about the smartphone have also surfaced.

The Bureau of Standards of India confirms that the OnePlus 8T has model number KB2001. That said, we know that the smartphone is codenamed "Kebab". It has already been tested in the popular Geekbench benchmark.

The Geekbench database confirms that the tested OnePlus 8T smartphone is equipped with 8GB of RAM, although there may be other options. As expected, it runs Android 11. It was also revealed that it is built on the Snapdragon 865 mobile platform, not the Snapdragon 865 Plus.

The OnePlus 8T is expected to have a flat AMOLED display with a hole in the upper left corner for a selfie camera. The phone will get an improved camera over its predecessor, faster wired charging technology, and probably support for wireless charging.

The OnePlus 8T launch could take place before the end of the month.
