Huawei Y9a with MediaTek G80, 64MP Quad Cameras, 40W SuperCharge Launched: Detailed Specifications, Price

After several weeks of rumours for the global market, Huawei has finally launched a new mid-range smartphone which is called as the Huawei Y9a. The device looks almost similar to the Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus that was recently launched in the Chinese market.

Huawei Y9a Design

This new phone gets slimmer bezels all-around with almost symmetrical chins on top and bottom that having a full screen display. So no holes or notches inside the screen and hence there will be a pop-up module for the selfie sensor which looks nice but not durable like the notched cameras.

And from the back, one can see a circular ring like module holding four cameras with a LED flash sitting to the top left corner and the back body design looks glossy with shining effect on it. So, there's a side mounted fingerprint module on a power button.

Huawei Y9a Specifications

The phone boasts a tall 6.63-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD Display with 1080x2400 Pixels Screen Resolution making it 20:9 Aspect Ratio.

And it comes with Android 10.0 Operating System out of the box with the company's custom EMUI 10.1 on top.

It is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek's Helio G80 CPU and is paired with 8GB of Inbuilt RAM that supports 128GB of internal storage options, which can be expandable further upto 256GB via NM card slot.

In the camera department, the quad rear camera set-up includes a 64-megapixel Primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with dual-LED flash on top.

And for selfies, there's an 16MP sensor housed for taking selfies and video calls.

In the battery section, the phone packs a really low 4,300mAH Battery with 40W SuperCharge fast charging support.

There's a side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor for authentication to unlock the phone and it will be available in Space Silver, Sakura Pink, as well as Midnight Black.

Unfortunately, the pricing information is not known till now but could be known in the upcoming days in the near future.

Conclusion

The Huawei Y9a looks amazing with a flagship design, a full screen display and 40W SuperCharge technology and 64MP Quad cameras are the top-notch features for a smartphone. However, pricing plays an important role for any smartphone and we have seen that the similar Huawei Enjoy 20 Plus phone gets a price tag $249 and goes up to $278 Dollars.
