Redmi 9 gets a polycarbonate body and P2i nano coating that provides splash protection which is a nice feature for a smartphone.
In June, Redmi introduced the Redmi 9 smartphone, which arrived in Europe a month later. Now in India, the Redmi 9 smartphone is finally on sale, which is completely different from the previously released device.
Moreover, Redmi 9 has made official in India, which is a modified version of the Redmi 9C. In this country, the new product is available for $120 which is Rs 9,000 INR for the lone 4GB RAM and 64GB of memory option.
Redmi 9 received a polycarbonate body and P2i coating, which provides splash protection. It measures 164.9 x 77.07 x 9.0 mm in dimensions and weighs 196 grams which is decent. The Redmi 9 model is equipped with a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch for the front camera. It has a 720 x 1600 pixels which is HD+ resolution and the aspect ratio is 20:9 which is most common on many smartphones.
The new Redmi 9 is completely different from the previously released model with a new design and upgraded features.
The smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 single-chip system, which will be paired by 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal flash memory (this version costs US$135). There is a slot for microSD memory cards.
The main camera has 13 and 2 megapixel image sensors, the front camera has a low 5 megapixel resolution. This is the first Redmi smartphone in India equipped with the latest MIUI 12 based on Android 10 out of the box.
The battery capacity is 5,000 mAh which is really massive, and there's also a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
