It looks like the Poco X3 will indeed become the first original smartphone of the brand, and not a copy of the previously released Xiaomi device. Let's clarify: we are talking about the Poco brand as a conditionally independent one, that is, the Pocophone F1 model is not taken into account here.
Angus Kai Ho Ng, the marketing manager and brand spokesperson, posted a couple of photos today. One shows the Poco X3, the other shows the result of the camera of this smartphone.

Not a successor to the Pocophone F1, but still not another clone. Poco X3's first photo reveals a number of details.

It will hardly be possible to assess the quality of the picture here, but something can be distinguished. If you look closely, you can see three features of the Poco X3. Firstly, it will receive a 64-megapixel camera, which can be seen from the interface. Secondly, the smartphone will receive a single front camera in the hole in the display.
Thirdly, on the right side you can see a fingerprint scanner, which means that the smartphone is most likely equipped with an IPS screen. Although the example of the brand new Asus ZenFone 7 demonstrates that sometimes there are exceptions. The signature also shows that the new Poco smartphone will receive an NFC module.
As for the rest, the smartphone was previously credited with a 5,160 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging, Snapdragon 765G SoC and 120Hz display.
