Huawei is soon going to launch a new flagship phone in Mate series which will be Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro models which are the successors to the previous Mate 30 series phones. Finally the design of this phone is leaked by Pricebaba and looks interesting in terms of design. This is Huawei Mate 40 Pro from both front and back sides. Interms of design, the phone has got a full screen display with almost no bezels that having narrow chins on top and bottom. There's also a lengthy and narrow pill shaped module for housing two selfie sensors aligned to the top left corner. And the display is of 6.70-inches in length and it will be Super Amoled Panel and is also expected to have an Under-Display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
And from the back, one can see a quad camera set-up arranged on a circular module with a LED flash sitting outside it. And the company could use a 108MP sensor as a main sensor with amazing zooming capabilities. And from here we can see, the volume rockers and power button placed slightly towards backpanel which is interesting. Huawei branding is also visible on the bottom left corner. This Mate 40 Pro phone will measure 162.8mm in Length, 75.5mm in Width and 9mm in thickness and going upto 10.4mm near the camera bump.
And on the top edge we can see a headphone jack and a sim-tray slot on top sitting side by side and at the bottom edge, there's a speaker grille with a Type-C port and here we can see the phone's display has got a curved display which the company call it as a waterfall display and the display is surrounded by a metal frame from all side which looks premium. This phone is expected to pack the Huawei's first 5nm Chipset which could be the Kirin 1000 CPU. We may also see upto 16GB of RAM option and 512GB of Internal storage option. It could also come with IP68 dust and water certification.
We can compare the Mate 30 Pro and Mate 40 Pro model designs here side by side we can see major design changes here with upgrades from lengthy notch to pill-shaped notch, slight roundish design unlike boxy rectangular shape in Mate 30 pro model here, almost similar rear camera set-up. And the Huawei Mate 30 Pro model launched for $1,498 Dollars which is ₹81,000 rupees in India. So, the new phone's price will be around $1500 Dollars mark.
