Redmi K40 - A New Concept Phone First Look, Specifications, Price

This is a new concept design of the Redmi K40 Phone which is an upgraded model to the Redmi K30 phone that launched recently. 

Design

This new phone willl now have a punch-hole full screen display placed at the centre unlike dual punch-hole on the Redmi K30 model. 

And we can see that on the back side there will be two pill shaped module placed perpendicular to each other with four corner consisting four sensors with a LED flash placed at the centre. However these camera arrangement sitting inside a circular ring which is a trend in the K series with a redmi branding at the bottom of the phone. And that looks amazing and we can say that this was a major design upgrade from the previous phone.

Redmi K40 Specifications

This phone will have a tall 6.50-inch Full HD+ Display with 1080x2400 Pixels Screen Resolution with an amazing 144Hz Refresh Rate that having 20:9 Aspect Ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass v5 Screen Protection on top.

It will come with Android 10 Operating System out-of-the box with Company's MIUI 12 skin on top.

It will be powered by MediaTek's 1000+ CPU and hence it will have a 5G support inside it and the phone will be coupled with 6/8/12GB of RAM that having 64/128/256GB of Internal Storage options.

And the Quad Rear Cameras will include a 64MP Main shooter with Sony IMX686 Sensor, assisted with a 8MP Ultra-Wide Lens, a 5MP Depth Sensor and a 2MP Macro Shooter.

On front, the phone will have a 32MP selfie camera housing inside a Punch-Hole notch.

In the battery section, the phone will pack a decent 5,260mAH of Capacity with 33W fast charging support.

And the phone will have an Under-Display fingerprint sensor for authentication.

This new phone will be priced around 320 Dollars i,e 23,990 Rupees in Indian Currency for the base variant.

Overall this phone looks nice in design and remember, this is only a concept design we don't have any rumors or leaks of this phone till now. So, if the company will implement this design and specifications then it will be one of the best mid-range smartphones.
