Redmi has finally launched a new mid-range 5G phone named as Redmi K30i 5G. The phone uses a Snapdragon 765G CPU to make the device a 5G supported.

In terms of design, The phone has got dual selfie cameras aligned to the top right corner with slimmer bezels and chins. And from the back we can see a 48MP Quad Camera set-up housed vertically inside a pill-Shaped module with a LED Flash below it. Overall design looks decent And coming to the specifications,


Redmi K30i Detailed Specifications

This phone features a tall 6.67-inch Full HD+ Display with 1080x2400 Pixels Screen Resolution and support for 120Hz of Refresh Rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 Screen Protection on top.

It runs on Android 10 Operating System out-of-the box with custom MIUI 11 skin on top.

It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 765G CPU which is coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM that having 128GB of Internal Storage which cannot be expandable further.

The Quad cameras on the back side includes a 48-megapixel Main Shooter, with 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide Sensor, a 5-megapixel Super Macro Lens and a 2-megapixel Depth Sensor.

And on the front, there's a 20-megapixel sensor along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor housing inside a pill-shaped shaped notch.

The battery section packs a decent 4,500mAH of capacity with support for 30W fast charging support.

Interestingly the phone has got a side-mounted Fingerprint Sensor, and the phone is listed in Blue, Red, Purple and White colour options.

This phone is set for a price tag of 1899 CNY i,e 262 Dollars for the lone variant and will start its sales from 2nd of June via JD.com online store.


Conclusion

Overall this phone looks good with decent specifications, its interesting to see a 30W Fast Charging support inside a mid-range phone, and thanks for th 5G processor inside it and falling inside the list of cheapest 5G ready phones in the market.
