• iQoo had recently announced three new phones namely the iQOO U5, iQOO Neo5S, and iQOO Neo5 SE in the Chinese market
• Now, the company officially revealed on its Weibo account (social media handle) that it is also going to unveil the iQOO 9 series of smartphones on January 5th in China.
iQOO 9 Series Design
• A new poster reveals that it will still use the sport BMW M Motorsport inspired design with a white-colored back panel that having the signature red, black, and blue stripes on it.
• Further, we can see a huge rectangle-shaped camera module on back and these three sensors will support OIS which is Optical Image Stabilization to stable the video while recording.
• This lineup should include two models namely, iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro. And these both smartphones are expected to arrive with a 50-megapixel camera that consisting the Samsung's GN5 primary sensor.
iQOO 9, 9 Pro Specifications (Rumoured)
• According to a Chinese tipster, this phone will sport a triple camera set-up that will include an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel primary shooter with Samsung GN5 sensor, along with 13-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with Sony IMX663 sensor offering 2x optical zoom.
• And this pro model may include a 50-megapixel primary shooter with Samsung GN5 sensor along with gimbal OIS support, and an another 50-megapixel Ultra-wide lens with Samsung JN1 sensor, as well as an 16-megapixel lens offering 2.5x optical zoom.
• The iQOO 9 and iQOO 9 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
• Both models are also expected to carry support for 120W fast charging and will house a battery of 4,700mAh capacity.
• The vanilla model may feature a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED E5 display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
• On the other side, the iQOO 9 Pro may arrive with a 6.78-inch AMOLED E5 curved edge screen that offers a Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
